I enjoy the atmosphere and I have always felt relaxed and at home there. Mike gives lots of constructive help when needed, but I am pleased that I can also do my own thing whenever I want to.

There are many helpful books to look at, materials to use if needed and you can make yourself a coffee/tea at anytime

I have found the other people who attend very friendly and there's a good rapport. No problems parking, which is free.

I would recommend Mike's Art School to anyone who maybe interested, but are unsure whether to attend.

"I had not painted since leaving secondary school, quite a long time ago, and I wanted to paint again. I knew I could draw, but painting with individual expression is a great skiIl, I was having difficulty and I was delighted to find Mike's Art school right here in Wellington. Since attending my confidence has grown, and through Mike's expert and patient teaching I am now attempting my first experimental oil painting on a large canvas. Of course painting is not the only great thing about Mike's Art school, I have met new people and found some lovely friends too.
